1. How do I open a meditation room?
Mouse over the meditation link in the navigation main menu; a drop-down menu appears for each meditation room category.
Move the mouse over the category to display the sub-menu (indicated by a small black arrow); the sub-menu includes a guide for each category (listed first) and a detail page for each meditation audio. Clicking one of the options on the sub-menu opens the page.
In the lower-half of each page is a slide with a summary of the meditation; a brief overview of the meditation, its duration and any special instructions.
Click on the slide to open the meditation room, which loads in a new browser tab. You can navigate between different meditation rooms using the menu at the top of the page.
2. What is the mini-player?
The mini-player can be opened by clicking the small icon on the top-right of the meditation room menu. A small window pops up over the page; a mini-version of the meditation room, but with a simplified layout.
The first-listed audio plays automatically once loaded. If the audio does not play, close the window and re-open the mini-player, alternatively, press Ctrl+R (Cmd+R on Mac keyboard) to refresh the content.
Choose an alternative audio by clicking one of the small grey select buttons to the top-right; when you mouse over the buttons the name of the audio is displayed.
The mini-player can be repositioned anywhere on your desktop, moved behind your current window or even minimised and will continue to play. This is designed to allow you to continue browsing, while enjoying uninterrupted audio.
3. How do I control the meditation playback?
The controls available to you are:
play | pause : the large button centered underneath the slide show; toggles between play and pause each time you click.
Pauses the playback sound and images, restarts from the point the slide show was paused.
sound on | off : the speaker image on the bottom left mutes or unmutes the sound.
The slide show continues to run but in silent mode when muted. When you unmute, sound plays from the current slide show position, not from the point it was muted. When sound is on the speaker icon shows green, when muted it is light gray.
previous | next : the arrow icons on the bottom right move the image displayed backward or forward one place per click.
4. How do use the meditation guide?
Each Guide page includes a slideshow panel dislaying the available audio for that room.
The slideshow automatically scrolls through each summary. To pause the scrolling simply move your mouse over the slideshow panel. When you move your mouse away from the panel the scrolling will restart.
You can also navigate to a specific summary using either the next/previous buttons (panel top-left) or the small gray select buttons (panel top-right).
5. How do I use the store?
You need to have an account with Amazon to purchase from our meditation room store; Amazon fulfill all orders for CDs, DVDs and books placed via our web store.
Click on store in the navigation menu. Next, choose a country to order from (you must have an account with Amazon for that country).
The page displays CDs by default. Choose another product category from the menu on the top right: meditation, binaural beat, sacred chant etc.
View more information for a product by clicking over the product icon.
On the product detail page click over Add to Shopping Cart if you wish to make a purchase.
From the Shopping Cart either choose to Continue shopping or Proceed to checkout. You can also delete the product from the cart or change the quantity of product ordered here.
Once you click Proceed to Checkout you are taken to the Amazon website, where you can complete your purchase using their secure system. No financial information entered is kept by us, and is only visible to Amazon.
6. How can I register?
Go to the home page and scroll down the page to see the free meditation mp3 panel. Click on the register link. A small modal window pops up over the page.
Enter your name in the first box, your e-mail in the second box and click send.
You will shortly receive an e-mail confirming your registration. You can unregister any time you wish (details of how to do this are in the confirmation e-mail).
If you get an error message after clicking send, close the modal window and try again. If registration consistently fails (it should work first-time) please let us know using our contact form.
7. How can I send a message?
Click the about link on the top menu of any page; a drop-down menu appears. The link to the contact page is the last option, at the bottom. Click Contact Us and the contact page will open.
Enter your name, e-mail and the subject of your message in the three boxes marked. You cannot send a message without all three fields completed.
Use the main box to write your message, please try to be brief and to the point. Once you have written your message click the send button.
If you get an error message, use your browser back button and try again.
